The food was good and the presentation was carefuly structured and interesting. However, when compared with other restaurants in the same town I did wonder if the food could be considered 'worth it' at the price. The radio playing Chère FM in the background food did not enhance the mood, though the decor was warm and inviting. I feel like going back just to ask why they had money stuck to the walls. There was just the chef and the one man who was serving everyone and it was noticeable that he spent the majority of his time on other tables. At no point did he approach after serving to verify that we were happy, we were, but still a good idea too ask. The salt sellers are tricky. The dishes were very nice and well-presented but we had to wait more than 30 minutes between each one and when I finally inquired after our dessert, I was told we had to wait until everyone else (at the OTHER tables, some of whom arrived 40 minutes after us) had had their main course. WHAT!? Whoever heard of such a thing?? They were strangers to us; why did we suddenly need to follow their schedule?? He also argued with me about which dessert I had ordered and in general was very rude and unhelpful. I'm sure it's not like this every day, but I would not recommend anyone to take the risk....
