Wonderful experience. Absolute magic in a pig's trotter. The 'amuse bouche' was delightful, a simple bite of salmon perfectly balanced with herbs, with a cheese fondue, and then the starter!
The local produce was well chosen with the selection of cheeses apparently served as much as you want (I don't believe this btw I think our waiter was just being nice).
The trotter is something of sorcery, I imagined it would be full of gristle or cartilage but instead it was tender and moist with a crispy coating, and the crispy (I can't find a synonym right now) camembert... My goodness!!!
The dessert is not to be trifled with, the zesty tang of the sorbet was refreshing as could be and the chocolate moelleux was not the frozen sort you'll find in many others (sorry not sorry). Absolutely...
   Read moreTruly one of the very best restaurants I have been to in France and Europe. Each dish was prepared exquisitely. Incredible quality and perfect taste pairings. The chef cooks on an open fire in the restaurant and interacts with his quests. The wine selection is amazing. This is a MUST if you are in the area.
I had the chateaubriand and my wife had a seafood selection. We started with the prawns. We ended with cheeses and deserts. Everything was perfect. The sauces were amazing.
