Coup de Fourchette - — Restaurant in Lisieux

Really really good price/quality. The best we've eaten in Normandie so far for a really acceptable price.

Menu is in French but the owner is speaking a good word of English, especially compared to most French (no offence) ;-) So he can make clear what you're going to order.

The owner is very kind and friendly.

If we can we go back once again in our holiday.

The only little minus is that we missed an extra bit of vegetable like steamed broccoli or something like that.

We were very lucky while we didn't reserve, but usually you absolutely have to ring them...

"Fine Food", off the beaten tourist track!! This restaurant is located close to, but not in Honfleur. Its "claim to fame" is its menu featuring very well prepared local dishes- from Basse Normnady. It has been awarded TripAdvisor's prised "Certificate of Excellence" over each of the past 4 years. The service is very friendly, "professional" as well as helpful. The cost is much lower than at the nearby fine dining restaurants [only 19 euro for a 3 course meal]. While not on the very busy "tourist track", it is well worth a visit.

Cute little restaurant with excellent taste of food !! Located just next to the church. You can see from the map, it’s not in Honfleur. Whereas in Honfleur you’ll probably wouldn’t find this type of restaurant (with great taste). Not a tourist scam at all. All ingredients are local. The cheese is so so darn good! We tried fried Camembert and sardine as the entré and moule à la crème and their entrecôte (a steak). Writing this review makes me hungry again! Would recommend to anyone. You wouldn’t be disappointed for sure Btw, the fries is one of the best...
