Columbus Café & Co — Restaurant in Lyon

I can understand that the staff at the counter was slow. However, when I ordered café latté glacé avec le sirop de vanille, another employee mistook it for café frappé, and I clearly saw her putting my coffee into the blender with ice. When the staff asked me what I ordered one more time, I asked for café latté avec glaçon again, but with a awkward look on her face, they just added the frappé she had made with ice, saying “Classique café latté.” Also, I thought the original price was 5.40 euros, but for some reason I ended up paying 5.70 euros. I like this cafe for a long time and have purchased café latté glacé here more than 10 times, but the staff's lies made me disappointed and worried if I can...

My husband is from Lyon, and we are currently visiting my in laws (I am from the US). I know only some places serve ice coffee, and I am a massive fan of that back home.

My brother in law mentioned to check this place out, and I am so glad that I did! It’s very cute, and the woman at the front was so sweet and helpful. We sat in the very back, and it was comfortable. We shared a donut, and the biggest coffee size was perfect (and delish)!

I’m sad I don’t have this place back home, as I think the prices were fair.

I highly recommend if you’re going with one or two other people (not a big group). I can imagine if it were full that it would get rather loud in...

I visited here with my wife 3 times in the days 9-12 September. It was the same server (working alone) every day and she was brilliant. Polite, helpful and quick service. We had a breakfast formula each time and it was really good.

Note that we visited the year before and it was not good. Things have really turned around and hence I have changed my review. Until next...
