Noor Mahal — Restaurant in Lyon

This was my first visit to Noor Mahal restaurant. I have to first admit that I have not seen such big space in any Indian/Pakistani restaurant in Lyon. The service was good, and the server was refilling the containers of buffet plates continuously. The food was good for a buffet menu, but there were only bone pieces in agneou Curry and the meat not so soft. The starters were good, and the prawn masala was delicious. I recently visited Noor Mahal, and I was really impressed! The buffet had a great variety of Pakistani/ Indiandishes, all fresh and full of flavor. My favorites were the butter chicken and the cheese naan, They were both delicious. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a nice atmosphere for both families and groups. I also liked that everything was halal. After seeing the Google reviews i visited this place for a lunch buffet. The taste of the food was average. The Google reviews are a bit overhyped. I tried both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. For vegetarian people there were less options in the main course. So for vegetarian people I wouldn't recommend this place.
