Firstly, this restaurant works on the principle that you can only choose a “blind menu” of either 3/4/ or 5 dishes and the menu starts at €55 and goes up from here depending on which option you choose so you don’t know what you you are going to eat - it’s a surprise! I like this concept as I like most food and I’m not very good a choosing so this didn’t bother me but it’s good to know that you do not choose you food! Sadly however, I found that food really mediocre. I had a mise en bouche and starter that had literally no flavour but then my main course was good but not extraordinary. The desert was mediocre as well. All good was beautifully presented however. I don’t know how this place gets such good reviews, the clientele were mainly couples in their 20’s on “date night” as the atmosphere is chic and stylish so I guess the whole “blind” menu and vibe of the place seduces some people but the food is definitely not...

We had a lovely meal at the small and intimate restaurant Būbo. It was quiet on the night we visited, often not too busy in summer - and we couldn't understand why because it is so good. We started with the gravelax, crab and zucchini and flowers for starters, then the fish of the day, octopus and beef for mains. Everything was delicious and an exciting fusion of French with Brazilian influence. The wine selection was also delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful -especially Cedric. We enjoyed chatting with them about the restaurant. Chef Danielle even came over after our meal. To end, we enjoyed both our desserts - one was an acai ice cream with Mango and the other a decadent chocolate...

This is a lovely little spot just off of the newly renovated Place Castellane. We had read about the chef and were interested in her approach. We were not disappointed and lunch was delicious. Very well executed with a few nice surprises and flavors. A bit of sorbet to accompany the asparagus appetizer and a creamy basil ice cream with apple crumble was just delicious. The chef was very sweet and came over to chat. We were pleased to hear that she will be taking over the restaurant in August. It seems that a new name will emerge as well, so best to keep...

We have been in marseille for a weekend and we reserved a table here in advance having read a mention on the Michelin guide. The experience went well beyond the (high) expectations. Attentive service, cozy atmosphere and unique dishes. Incredible amouse bouche, I ate for the first time shellfishes and they were so good ! Thumbs up for the sea water which is paired with them ! And on top of that, the asiette de fromage was carefully selected and very tasty. Recommended !
