LABEL PIZZA Gemenos — Restaurant in Marseille

I can’t begin to describe how much my husband and I enjoyed our experience and our food at Label Pizza. From the start, we were greeted by Laurence with such warmth and enthusiasm, she spoke about the history of Gemenos and activities to do in the area, which we really appreciated as tourists here. The pizza was by far one of the best I’ve had and the crust is phenomenal. You need to try this place if you’re in Gemenos , the hospitality alone would entice you to come back and the food is amazing. Thank you Laurence and Marco for welcoming us into your beautiful town and making us delicious pizza !

What a great place! We arrived with our two daughters, hot and tired, into Gemenos from the Var, checked into our hotel without any clue of what lay in store for dinner options. They recommended Label and what a blessing. The pizza is perfect, deepish style with high quality toppings. The staff was kind and attentive. Je ne comprends pas leur concept de la "pizza à emporter". J'appelle à 19h30, ça sonne 5 fois et je tombe sur le répondeur qui dit : "Label Pizza." Point barre. Ma foi, je rappelle. Je demande une pizza à emporter et on me répond "je suis désolée mais les pizzas à emporter c'est complet." Rien de plus. Comprenant pas je demande ce que ça veux dire, la dame répond "c'est complet jusqu'à 22h donc voilà." Ok... Bon bein je vais manger ailleurs... Mais du coup je comprends pas bien le concept, faut réserver la veille pour commander une pizza à emporter ?

PS: Je suis allé manger sur place un autre jour pour enfin tester ces fameuses pizzas d’un “champion meilleur pizzaïole de France”. Comme d’habitude je prends une mozzarella pour tester: aucun goût, pizza insipide, seule la pâte est juste correcte mais sans plus. Garnitures sans goût, sauce tomate sans goût. Personnel vraiment pas sérieux, madame regarde sa télé qui est cachée derrière son comptoir pendant qu’on mange, monsieur ne fait rien après avoir fait ma pizza... L’archétype du couple “marseillais”, moins on en fait mieux c’est. Je donne jusqu’à la fin de l’année à cette pizzeria avant de fermer, le niveau de la concurrence étant infiniment plus...
