Piacere, Pizza Populaire — Restaurant in Marseille

Five stars for the service, food, and location. We had the octopus and three pizzas - Diavola, margherita, and artichoke. Every item was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I would 100% recommend all of them. This amount of food fed 4 very hungry adults and we had a couple of slices left over.

Our waiter, Karo, went above and beyond - he was incredibly helpful in explaining the dishes and also very accommodating to us American tourists who speak no French, as were the owners/managers of the restaurant who were able to seat us immediately. We also asked our waiter for suggestions on where we could hangout late night and he researched and tracked down two of the only options opened on a Monday. 👍🏻

The location was just a 9 min walk from our hotel and was a true oasis in what seemed like a desert of restaurants that are open later than 10pm. After fighting traffic and the crowds all day downtown, we were very grateful and relieved to have this as an option within...

Adresse plébiscitée par un chef étoilé marseillais donc on est allé tester avec ma femme. La pâte à pizza est faite maison avec plus de 24h de repos, elle est extrêmement croustillante, je mange même la croute xD !!! Les produits sont frais et de très bonnes qualités. Vous l’avez compris on s’est régalé. Le prix est plus élevé qu’un pizza ordinaire mais le rapport qualité vaut vraiment le coup. On a trouvé notre adresse !!! Du coup on a amené des amis végétariens, de la famille … tous sont du même...

Une pizzeria qui partage la terrasse avec le resto d'à côté. En cette soirée d'août, l'établissement est plutôt calme. Coté resto, des habitués, une cuisine qui a l'air excellente et un service qui suit. Pour les pizzas, c'est une toute autre histoire: un pizzaiolo manifestement lunatique et 45 minutes d'attente pour des pizzas arrivées...
