PAUL — Restaurant in Meaux

The Paul sandwich chain does not train its managers in basic hygiene rules? So there, this Sunday noon, we are not far from closing for lack of hygiene. The male manager passes with a pink wipe, around the bins, taps on the ground in front of the cash desk, then goes behind the counter, still with the unrinsed wipe, taps the coffee machine outlet, then returns to the room to clean the tables. He goes to the service, makes a remark to his colleague, takes his place, cashes, gives napkins... serves the sandwiches by taking them with his bare hands from the window. I discreetly make the remark to him and he gets angry and invites me to leave if there is no content. We go out and I turn around, he put on plastic gloves to pass the same...

Had a quick bite at Paul’s in CDG Terminal 2E and was pleasantly surprised. I tried the Poulette W/ Grain Baguette (Chicken), a large pistachio macaron, and a bottle of Diet Sprite — swear it’s one of the best value meals you’ll find at the airport. Make sure to check the value meal deals for savings.

Everything I chose tasted fresh and well-prepared. Prices were reasonable, they accept credit cards, and the staff was kind and efficient. A solid option for a quick, quality meal before...

⚠️ Many 5-star reviews are fake ! I'm French, I know the taste of a good baguette and sandwich, this PAUL has neither !

Total scam. Almost 7 euros for a small tomato-mozzarella sandwich which cost less than 1.5 euro to make, the baguette was soft, not even crispy, and the taste was just ok but not really fresh. This should be the price of a big sandwich + bottle of water, not the sandwich alone.

Inflation is now the good excuse of the companies to indecently rise up...
