Ladurée terminal 2E porte M — Restaurant in Meaux

I decided to go simple on this one and just had a club sandwich, the Ladurée club. It was as much as I ever paid for a club sandwich but it was excellent. Coffee and the marron was very nice. And of course the atmosphere is very tastefully elegant with a view of the goings on in the airport. When it came to pay, they tried using the old French trick of pretending that the credit card communication wasn't going through and asked if I could pay cash. Being on a business trip, I refused. Miraculously, somehow, they got my card to work. This would definitely be 5 stars if it hadn't been for this, which the manager of the place...

I came across this place while in transit at Charles de Gaulle airport. It is located at Terminal 2E. There are about 8 different kinds of macarons.

Food: 4/5 - I had the Marie Antoinette macaron which is black tea with a citrus taste. Good thing I bought just one to try as I found it to be on the sweet side.

Service: 4/5 - the server was helpful in explaining the various macarons

I was in transit and stopped by for some nostalgia in the form of two macarons. The employee seemed not very happy to be there, which is strangely common at all the Ladurées I’ve been to; but the place itself was pristine, bright, and colorful as always, they seemed to be well stocked, and the service was quick and efficient.
