L'Ardoise — Restaurant in Melun

Brilliant place for lunch, a simple menu but done well! Owner doesn't speak English but was very patient with us which we're really thankful for. We all had the bavette (owner's way of explaining how rare we would like the steak was just genius!) which was delicious (peppercorn sauce was really good!) and the creme brulee was great. Have fun with the escape room toilet as well...

Petit resto d’apparence très simple mais nourriture très bonne! La carte change des restaurants dont on peut avoir l’habitude. Tout est fait maison et ça se sent. Nous avons prit la salade de gésiers en entrée et la bavette accompagnée du gratin dauphinois en plat les deux étaient excellents avec des portions tout à fait raisonnables. La dame au contact du client est très gentille et le monsieur en cuisine a aussi l’air très agréable. En résumé si vous voulez une cuisine très bonne sans vous baigner dans un bain de foule c’est l’endroit idéal. Excellente découverte que...
