We stayed for one night before an 8-day hike "Tour des Monts d'Aubrac", and another night at the end of our hike. A lot of hikers stay at this hotel, which is about 5 minutes walk from the railway station, and we were made very welcome. Read moreThis is the BEST BREAKFAST in town. We were staying at a gite in town while walking the Compostella and had paid for demi-pension. But the dinner last night was so lackluster that we decided to sleep in a bit and find a later breakfast. So glad we did. Still officially "continental" without eggs, etc. it had wonderful homemade croissants and pain au chocolat,abundant fresh fruit, baguette, jams, yogurt, OJ and very good strong coffee with refills. In a hotel of this price you'd probably expect some shower gel rather than a plain bar of soap.
