Family run by enthusiastic, efficient and fun staff with a real sense of humour, the whole enterprise is validated by its food, which is spectacularly good. Last Saturday I had had a very trying journey to Briare on my boat; I phoned them to reserve a table for myself, if possible, and Florence la patronne said she could squeeze me in somewhere, for which I was very grateful.
