We enjoyed a fantastic 3 course dinner here last night, with everything cooked and presented to perfection. Grilled octopus, beautiful steak with beef cheeks and a rich jus, and the best strawberry dessert I have ever tasted. The Scottish and English owners are so friendly and delight in presenting their exceptional cooking. Excellent qualify wines, eg Pouilly Fume, sold by the carafe, which is an unusual big plus. All the food and drinks are so reasonably priced. The lady owner told us that there was live music in the square tonight, so we thought that we should partake of their hospitality for another dinner! The beautiful town square makes a lovely backdrop to the outside tables, and our little dog was welcomed, and glad of the shaded tables.
