La Cantine — Restaurant in Montpellier

Should you find yourself in the area at lunchtime, this is a GREAT choice.

This restaurant is very close to an office that is involved in the French visa process. When we arrived too early for our appointment, we decided to enjoy lunch. The reviews were promising, so "La Cantine de la Manufacture" was it.

As has always been our experience so far in France (nearly 5 months here), the staff was professional and polite. Further, their English was at least as good as our French, though we usually get along fine in French.

We enjoyed the Fish and Chips as well as a trio of different tacos—real, actual open tacos, rather than the "burrito-ish" style that seems to be more common in this part of France. (My fave was the kebab taco, btw.)

The dishes were delicious and the sides were also very good, and the pavlova dessert was heavenly and just enough for two.

Great atmosphere inside and out, which was a nice surprise in this fairly "industrial" seeming...

I went here for lunch and it’s a really nice restaurant! Loved the atmosphere , it’s very modern and chic with great music ! I took the chicken tacos and it has too much curcuma/turmeric :/ (I say this being an Indian!! Too much curcuma that it stains your hand :/) and I took vegetable as one of the side and it was very oily ! But waitress is really lovely and energetic and I think it’ll be an amazing place for drinks in the evening or for lunch with colleagues ! Loveeeed...

Franchement moi qui aime la nouveauté et l'exotisme, je suis servi ! Un accueil impeccable, le sourire est la devise de l'établissement. Moi qui travaille pour Sonepar Connect une société établie dans la même zone, j'ai pue découvrir asser facilement ce restorant. Mon impression n'a jamais été entaché, des plats succulent, variés autour d'un thème alléchant. Mon plat préféré le trio de tacos 🌮. Le restorant dispose d'un car privé qu'il vient vous chercher gratuitement sous simple appel et franchement c'est amusant cette petite balade sans se soucié du parking. Ils font aussi des after work asser sympathique avec un immense barbecue. Côté prix, franchement vraiment pas chère, on y mange aisément à moins de 15 euros pour un repas soigné façon gastronomique. Le cadre est top, jolie décors et jolie jardin. Je vous recommande vivement ce restaurant. Et ils tiennent compte de vos remarques afin d'affiner au maximum leurs service. Pour ma part ils ont ajouté ma boisson favorite a la carte même si cela n'entre pas dans leurs thème. Encore merci pour cette...
