Planet' Kebab — Restaurant in Montpellier

Upon partaking in what appeared at first glance to be a most unassuming repast (the humble kebab) no less—I found myself quite overcome with emotion and wonder. Never in all my days, amidst banquets and feasts of far greater ceremony, have I encountered such a profound reawakening of the senses. Each bite, delicately spiced and tender beyond comprehension, seemed to whisper secrets to the soul—flavours ancient and noble, as if conjured by the very gods of gastronomy. The service, I must confess, defied the grasp of mortal understanding. The attendants moved with such grace, such unspoken knowledge of one’s needs, that I was left to question whether I had stumbled not into an eatery, but into a sanctum—a temple dedicated to the highest art of culinary devotion. Indeed, so transformative was this experience, so utterly rapturous and sublime, that I now find myself incapable of contemplating any other sustenance with even the faintest flicker of desire. The notion of another meal—however lavish or esteemed—pales to obscurity beside the memory of that divine creation.

We decided to risk ordering a takeaway dinner from this place one evening. The staff even tucked in some warmed rolls wrapped in foil alongside an assorted platter.

When we got home, however, we were appalled to find insects inside the rolls. The food itself seemed far from fresh—especially the vegetables, which tasted sour and spoiled—and we also found hairs mixed in. This happened despite the smiling, seemingly courteous man who handed us the bag.

In the end we did not dare eat any of it and threw everything straight...

A peine 10 min après avoir récupéré la commande de deux sandwichs, américain et kébab, ils étaient presque désagrégés dans leur emballage en aluminium. Pains de mauvaises qualité??? Je ne suis pas sûr mais ça semble être possible. La viande (qui se devait être un steak haché de bœuf) de l'américain coupé en dés m'a fait jeter le sandwich, vraiment une viande de mauvaise qualité. Une bouchée a suffit pour que je le jette. Donc pour la qualité, de ce jour-là du moins, c'était pas bon et ça m'a semblé assez cher avec une telle qualité. J'ai été déçu, mais je retenterais un jour peut-être, mais pas...
