RESTAURANT "La Barque Bleue" à MEZE — Restaurant in Montpellier

We didn't actually eat here in the restaurant but came to buy shellfish as it was recommended to us by a local person. A great selection of freshly caught fish and shellfish. We ordered 10KG of mussels and picked them up a couple of days later. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We turned up a few hours earlier than we said we would, but it wasn't a problem. Would highly recommend purchasing fish and shellfish from here if in the area.. you will not be disappointed. Prices are great (mussels 3€ per kilo) they were large and a beautiful flavour....

Best oysters ever!! Stopped in with friends for a casual meal at a casual Languedoc seafood vendors 'room on the side'. Fresh local seafood with local wine - a match made in heaven!! The oysters were sublime, really some of the best (and cheapest) I've had. Nothing more to say really. I have also posted my very photogenic picture of a lovely platter of oysters to go along with the hundreds of other lovely pictures...

Établissement contacté par facebook le 13/04/2022 afin de savoir si le 1et mai c'était tout de même ouvert on me dis que oui tout en précisant d'appeler le lendemain matin au restaurant pour la réservation pour confirmation....ce que je fais des le lendemain Là je tombe sur une personne avec un accent bien prononcé qui me CONFIRME BIEN la réservation .... Arrive le 1et mai où avides de regouter à vos plateaux de coquillages nous nous tapons tout de même 2h30 de route... Et là nous nous voyons refuser l'accès au restaurant sous prétexte que nous n'avions pas réservé Nous avons beau essayer de nous expliquer mais la patronne a prétexté que c'était les débuts de Paula et quelle a du oublier....la dite Paula etant la avec un sourire narquois na même pas daigné dire quoi que ce soit et une table pour deux Pouvait facilement se rajouter et la aussi on nous a refusé sous prétexte que lerestaurant était complet Nous y sommes repassés vers 14h/14h15 non pas pour contrôler mais pour repartir chez nous et ce restaurant était bien loin d'être bondé de monde Cherchez...
