Sésame — Restaurant in Montpellier

This was my second visit with my family. The first time we enjoyed a variety of BBQ dishes with many appetizers, each full of flavor, just as you’d expect from authentic Syrian/Lebanese cuisine.

This time we tried the chicken shawarma and meat shawarma—both were absolutely delicious and highly recommended. For dessert, we had knafeh nabulsieh and Syrian cheesecake, so good that I felt transported back to Syria.

The whole experience, with the oriental music in the background, felt magical. I also really respect the owners—they generously offered us free coffee at the end, just like they did on our first visit.

Truly a wonderful place that I’ll keep coming back to! Maybe...

We were in the mood for a good shawarma and Sesame was great. There’s a good choice of tasty Eastern Mediterranean food. Our beef shawarma sandwiches were delicious and large, and the homemade aioli was perfect. The food was inexpensive and the service was good and welcoming....

J’ai eu le plaisir de découvrir ce restaurant syrien, et je dois dire que c’est une véritable pépite ! Dès l’accueil, on se sent comme chez soi : le personnel est chaleureux, attentionné et authentique. Un vrai sens de l’hospitalité à la syrienne.

Côté cuisine, c’est tout simplement exceptionnel. Les plats sont savoureux, généreux et préparés avec soin. Des mezzés aux plats chauds, en passant par les desserts, tout est un délice. On sent la passion et le respect de la tradition dans chaque bouchée.

Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe pour cette belle expérience culinaire et humaine. Je recommande ce lieu les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui veulent voyager en Syrie sans...
