Restaurant Le Bouchon — Restaurant in Nîmes

I have to say that the restaurant was good, but not in the way I expected it. The Ambient and Atmosphere was good, altough because it was in the middle of the street it was kind of loud but acceptable. We had a table of 8 people, which of 6 ordered the Duck and 2 the Beef. It was tasting good, fair enough, altough I did expect much better than that for the price. If it would be a little bit cheaper, I wouldnt say anything. Also immediatly in the Beginning we were offered the Water, without knowing it would be charged, which kind of threw me of but luckily it wasnt that expensive. I had the Beef and i did order Medium Rare, but the meat (I think) was a little bit too Rare, as if the Meat was on the Grill for 4 min overall time, but it was still pretty good, just could be better for the price. I have to write this review as I’m sitting at the restaurant because I will not give it the praise it deserves otherwise! The terrace of this restaurant is gorgeous.. on the square of the midieval charming village of Aigueze.. its right near the petanque court and only inhabitants can drive through it, so kids can play whilst parents enjoy the tasty tapas and nice house wine.
