BIG sister — Restaurant in Nancy

This is a hidden gem in Nancy! Tucked away in a quiet corner of the city and easy to miss, this place is more than meets the eye at first glance.

The interior is cozy and comfortable, with tables placed well apart and not crammed together. This does mean there may be a bit of a wait to be seated, and there are no reservations, but it is well worth the time spent.

My partner and I ordered a dirty Chai latte. It came topped with cinnamon designed in a cute pattern. They used coconut milk which gave it a taste unlike any other Chai I've ever had. The cream, Chai, and coffee gave it a very sweet and gentle flavor. It was warm and gentle, perfect for those who don't want an intense spicy Chai or strong coffee taste.

I got the BIG tower pancakes which were slightly salty and sweet, a unique flavor experience I hadn't expected to enjoy as much as I did. It was topped with faux bacon and sausage, not indistinguishable from the real deal but just as good. Whatever they used for the pancake and waffle batter gave it a subtle sweetness and soft texture I adored. My partner got the avacado toast which I got a taste of. Between the avacado, coriander, and cucumber, it tasted amazingly fresh. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't enjoy coriander, however you can probably ask to have it omitted.

All in all, a wonderful experience! I wish I lived closer to Nancy. Either way, I'd absolutely visit again if I was...

Amazing vegan spot! A vegan gem in Nancy which reminds me of the coolest Berlin or NYC vegan spots. The food is amazing, the service is excellent and super nice and the complete ambiance is just right. We were here with our one year old daughter and we had a great time. She especially loved the pancakes and we also enjoyed the scones (love) and Le Café in the sweets section (you should really try it!). We’ll be back and we recommend it to everyone, vegan or non-vegan, haute cuisine for streetfood...

I’ve been here several times and each time I just become more in love with the cozy and funky vibe here and the FOOD ! 🤩😋🥰 I think it’s been said but yes, the owners are so nice - warm and friendly and professional. But the food, it’s so good that it’s kind of shocking actually 🤯 - I’m not vegan (yet?) so this is still new to me that (western) food can be so delicious and satisfying without animal products.
