My partner and I, visiting all the way from the Netherlands, found this place through Google and were drawn in by the already great reviews. We are so glad we came! The experience was absolutely delightful.
We sat near the kitchen and could hear the fresh chopping of vegetables and herbs. The food was outstanding, definitely a 10/10. Everything was freshly prepared, and for us, it was the best Indian food we’ve ever tasted. The coffee was also excellent, and the ‘Rose’ and ‘Cardamom’ liqueurs served at the end were unique and absolutely worth trying.

Voyant les bons avis sur maps, nous décidons d'aller tester ce restaurant indien, étant fan de cuisine indienne. Tout d'abord l'accueil a été inexistant, comme je ne l'ai jamais vu, nous avions l'impression de déranger. Nous étions à deux doigts de repartir, mais nous voulions laisser la chance à la cuisine, dans l'idée de supporter les restaurants du coin. Les prix sont exorbitants. Du jamais vu pour moi, plus élevé qu'en Suisse. Le riz basmati nature à 5 euros était trop pour moi... La portion de poulet était minuscule, comme je ne l'avais jamais vu dans un restaurant indien, nous avons même cru à une blague au début, vu le prix du plat. C est la première fois que je dois remanger chez moi derrière après avoir payé plus cher qu'un menu complet dans un restaurant, sans entrée, ni dessert. Je ne vois pas comment ce restaurant peut être viable économiquement à ces prix là dans une petite ville comme Nantua. Les personnes derrière nous étaient également effarées face aux prix, se demandant ce qu'elles seraient capables de se payer, les plats ne rentrant pas dans leur budget... Concernant la cuisine elle-même, la sauce était très bonne, bravo au cuisinier. Je vous souhaite une bonne continuation et j'espère que le restaurant...
