Le Palm Beach — Restaurant in Narbonne

We chosed Leucate as a quick stop before heading to Spain and Andalusia, our long-time dreamed about destination. I ordered the dish of the day at Le Palm Beach: it was served with 30 minutes delay, while all the other guests at the restaurants, who had arrived after us and had ordered the same dish of the day (!), were served before me. They told me there had been a technical issue with the preparation...in the meantime, our car's window was broken and they stole everything from it, including some precious memories of my dead father. Unfortunate coincidence? I don't believe in coincidences. I only know that that small cute village at the beach, turned out to be a very criminal seaside village, despite all the cameras and the police cars' checks, like most of the seashore between Nice and Barcelona, alas and we lost everything during a couple of hours lunch break, in the day light and our whole 2-week holiday was ruined. That unfortunate accident scarred me for life and I trust (un)human race even less. The dish of the day was not even that special, to be honest and it was quite pricey (28 EUR). I wish we had never stopped in Leucate and in France at all. Next time, we'll simply fly over France to Spain. DO NOT STOP in Leucate if you have a...

I came here last friday ( 04/08/2023) with a couple of friends, we ordered 3 of a special they had: 11€ for half a roasted chicken with fries on the side. I had to send mine back because it tasted wrong so they gave me another one. But that of my friend's, the taste was abysmal, even the smell was unpleasant. Putting low prices on food isn't a reason to give away rotten food! Waitresses were nice, nice view...

Une catastrophe !!! Nous avons commandé à emporter alors déjà l’attente n’en parlons pas, la propreté des lieux inexistante c’est dégoûtant pour rester poli, le ménage c’est uniquement pour l’ouverture de la saison et la fermeture ? Les prix alors non mais sérieusement, ils se sont cru à St Trop’ ou c’est comment ?! Encore si ça aurait été bon, ça aurait pu passer mais là c’était tellement gras 🤢, viande kebab limite bouillie, bouts de salades dans le burger pas fraîche à vomir, une horreur du début à la fin. Pour vous dire, j’ai même été malade la nuit qui a suivi mon passage dans cet endroit. Même au McDo on mange mieux quoi… Ah et j’oubliais, en commandant j’avais précisé à emporter, et évidemment le cuisinier (qui n’était pas du tout impliqué dans son travail et agacé, dans ces conditions qu’il laisse sa place à ceux qui ont réellement envie de travailler) était tellement à l’ouest qu’il nous met notre repas à emporter dans des assiettes pour manger sur place, alors bon… je vais m’arrêter là hein, mais de part mon expérience dans cet établissement je vous dirai de fuir et d’aller voir ailleurs. Il devrait y avoir un contrôle sanitaire ça rigolerait...
