The owner’s reply below is inaccurate. We ordered multiple dishes for adults and children, including mussels, sardines, fries, rillettes, chicken with rice, plus drinks and wine. The issue was not about quantity but the waitress’s rude behavior and even removing our children’s plates, probably thinking we were a one stop tourist biz. That is why we left.

If you scroll below to other replies, you’ll see the owner has personal issues with negative feedback and reacts angrily to almost every unhappy customer. Unfortunately, my experience was no different.

This was the rudest service we’ve ever had so far. I’ve been coming over 35 years to the area, first time in this restaurant. We just wanted a bite, 2 adults and 3 kids (youngest 3yo). After a pretty long wait. We were ordering for dinner: muscles, sardines, two sides of fries, the rillette and a chicken and rice plate, plus drinks for everyone and wine. The waitress literally said “you need to order for everyone, the season is short” in a very upsetting way after persuading us to keep ordering, and then takes away the plate of one of my kids. We are left shock and pretty disappointed, but surprisingly, quickly after she came back and took another plate away from my other child! The experience was totally unpleasant, so rude!! We had a magnificent time at Le petit Baigneur! The formula of sitting at big wooden tables and benches where you get to share fresh and delicious Mediterranean seafood with your company reflects an atmosphere of summer pleasure and happiness. Our 11 yrs old son is now in love with the mussels “á la planche” , they were incredibly tasty indeed! As were the sardines, little fried fish, …. Super friendly staff that works very hard to serve you quickly and with a smile . If you feel like a dessert , they have some surprising things to finish your visit with. Décevant et prétentieux pour ce que c’est

Restaurant en bord de mer à l’allure bobo mais avec une politique absurde : on nous a obligés à prendre deux menus enfants pour nos enfants de 4 et 6 ans, ce qui est totalement excessif. Résultat : gaspillage assuré. Les menus sont composés de Capri-Sun et de sundae, uniquement du sucre — aucune option plus saine ou bio, alors que le discours se veut "qualitatif" à cause soi-disant des charges et des employés... sauf que le restaurant est géré par la patronne et son mari.

Autre déception : rien n’est fait maison. Les frites sont industrielles, la mayonnaise aussi. Pour un établissement qui refuse de se considérer comme du snacking, c’est exactement ce que ça ressemble à l’arrivée — mais en beaucoup plus cher.
