Brasserie Pampérigouste — Restaurant in Nice

I did put 3 star as usually the food and the service is good for this kind of restaurant. I know the place very well as have visited in many occasions. Tonight was 2 star experience... When the staff tells you pizza 🍕 dough and the desserts we had ( tarte de citron 🍋, crème brûlee) is homemade 🤨??? I am 100 % sure that what we had was NOT honestmade. From Metro maybe, but not homemade. Juts be honest about it. The ratatouille pizza 🍕 was tasteless and tin as a news paper but still undercooked underneath! The tarte de citron was just so hard, and would be surprised if it was deep frozen ! Sad as the ambience and the location is not bad at all. Recommendation: Make less pizzas 🍕 and desserts but make them home... or ask the première boulangeri in La...

We chose this place for our 1 year wedding anniversary dinner. It was really nice, lasagna was the best! Husband took burger but he did not mention and no one asked about well cooked or no, so it was completely cooked and wasn’t that great. This restaurant has the best view of the in La Turbie. The service was on the slow side, but was generally pleasant. The downside of the experience was the food. The starter salad and olives were nice, but I had the lasagna and my wife had pizza, of which, neither were good. The lasagna was very heavy on the cheese, but lacked layers and structure that would be expected of a lasagna. The depth of the flavor was missing. The pizza was lackluster as well. I would recommend to come for a drink and admire the view, but there are better food...
