MAISON JL BRUNCH — Restaurant in Nice

The food was not bad the salty part of the brunch was one third of the sweet part, I’m not a sweet fan personally but if you are could be interesting for you. The portion overall was not bad. The waitress was lovely and very friendly but unfortunately the salon was overcrowded and I couldn’t speak to my girlfriend. I had to shout. Also the waiting time to give order was very long I had to ask them to please come and take my order but the worst part was the menu that was not at all clear in the menu for the dessert you have the choice for your brioche to add toppings. Some of the toppings are supplement and it has not been noted in the formula so I was surprised that I have to pay €3 on extra at the end but they said that they will change the menu but this part of the experience was not very convenient for me that I have to pay €3 on extra because the menu is not clear and it was not returning the menu that the topping is an extra for example it has been written that SAMAN is extra but when it’s in the menu it’s not extra Pist that is extra even if it’s in the menu so this is really not clear and I still don’t understand. Also I asked about the coffee menu they told me that all the coffees are included in the brunch formula but the moment that I wanted to pay I had to pay euro and half extra for one of the coffees so that was also another surprise but apart from the loudness of the salon and late service at the table and this supplement surprises the waitress was lovely very friendly very nice. The toilet was big and very clean and they gave us some tea at the end on the house which was a very nice gesture as well. Hope the best for you. I recently visited IL Maison for brunch and tried their Avocado Menu, and I must say—it was a real treat!

The menu comes with a variety of well-thought-out items that make it feel more like a brunch feast than just a simple meal. I chose the brioche with pistachio, which was on the sweeter side but absolutely delicious. Alongside that, you get a small portion of granola—beautifully presented and full of flavor.

Of course, the highlight is the avocado toast, which was fresh, generous, and satisfying. The portion sizes overall were very generous—I usually finish everything on my plate, but this time I had to take some of it to go. Honestly, the menu is so plentiful that it could easily be shared between two people.

What makes this experience even better is that the menu includes two drinks—one hot and one cold—giving you a nice balance to complement the food.

A special mention goes to the two lovely ladies who served us. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, which added a warm and welcoming touch to the whole experience.

🌟 Service : 10/10 Un personnel au top, souriant, accueillant, bienveillant. On sent une vraie bonne énergie dans toute l’équipe, et ça fait toute la différence.

🏡 Décoration & ambiance : 10/10 La décoration est pensée dans les moindres détails, jusque dans les toilettes où une petite douchette est installée – un détail qui montre à quel point rien n’est laissé au hasard, que ce soit en matière d’esthétique ou d’hygiène. L’ambiance est chaleureuse, élégante et tellement agréable.

🧼 Propreté : 10/10 C’est nickel du sol au plafond, y compris dans les espaces souvent négligés ailleurs. On se sent bien, on se sent en confiance.
