We arrived last Friday a table of 10 , there were 2 other tables outside and a few inside . We were seated and then left for 40 minutes until our drinks order was taken. They were hardly rushed off their feet. After receiving our drinks including two ‘glasses’ of wine which are better described as shots we were able to order our food.
We started with three starters to share , including one of there mixed platters. This was like warm at best. Not to be put off we continued to our mains BIG MISTAKE!
We ordered one prawn curry - this was only good dish we had that night.
One vegetarian/vegan , 4 chicken curries and a lamb curry. To say this is the one of worst meals I have eaten is an understatement - as I couldn’t even eat it. We sent one curry back as it had around 4 bite sized pieces of chicken , they did then increase the portion. Upon then trying the chicken it was a bland gravy sauce with pieces of rubber in it. One of the curries the chicken smelt off that it was inedible. The lamb curry was dry, and the rest of the chicken curries had such little Indian spice they resembled faijias bowls. The vegan/vegetarian curry was rice with peas without any sauce - hardly a curry. Thé naan breads although these had flavour they were so hard/stale they could have been mistaken for a frisbee.
Upon collection of plates seeing that all bar the prawn curry still had full plates and dishes the staff didn’t acknowledge this . We then asked to see the manager in which he came over and we made our complaint. He in formed us all the curries at made in the morning , this could account of the rubber chicken. However, the fact non of the sauces had flavour and had the consistency of gravy he couldn’t explain.
We advised him we were happy to pay for our drinks and even pay for our starters although they were dreadful but not willing to pay for the rest. The manager advised us that he would have to go speak to the owner , although already unhappy and waiting a further 15/20 minutes no one came across we then went inside to see what was going on as no one came back to speak to us. They did agree for us to only pay for the drinks and starters however this was the lease they could do.
Unfortunately as to be expected, one of the chicken curries tried it did result in one of us being unwell 👍🏽
For the quality of the food , service , portion size vs cost I would avoid this place . There are far better , tasty and cheaper curry houses in Nice which don’t leaving you enjoying the delights of your meal the...

Read moreWe went on a Saturday at 9:30 PM. I was with two friends—two of whom wasn't hungry. I was hungry but can’t finish a full portion by myself, so I planned to share the chicken biryani with one friend. The staff insisted that each person had to order a meal to dine in, so we added two naans. However, they said naan didn’t count as a meal and refused to let us dine in with our order. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty with only three occupied tables, we decided to not cause a fuss and ordered take away for the chicken biryani. Not judging who is right or wrong , just saying as a customer, I did not enjoy the experience or the customer service at this restaurant, nor did I find the food satisfactory.
The food was honestly anything but Indian. The chicken biryani tasted like plain chicken without salt or any real flavor. There was a faint flavor, and the sauce resembled something sour, but it was just plain sour without any other layers of taste. Moreover, the dish had very few spices, making it taste like plain...
