Thank you for providing me with the most bizarre restaurant experience of my life. A friendly waiter showed me and my wife to a dirty table, afterwards we had to ask for it to be cleaned. All the waitstaff seemed very aloof to the fact that we were sitting at the table, at one point the waiter placed his ass a few centimeters from my wifes face to take another tables order. When it was our time to order, the waitstaff seemed to disappear. After a good 5 minutes of trying to get their attention, we finally got one waiter to come over and take our order.
Our neighbouring table order steak, but the waiters forgot their sauce, but were quick to come out with the sauces once it was pointed out to them - no biggie. When we got our food, I was not surprised to find that the sauce was also missing. I tried for several minutes to get one of the waiters to come over so that I could point out that I too was missing the sauce that should come with the dish. He said he would get right on it, turned around, and then started taking orders from other tables. I asked another waiter and he yelled at a third waiter to come over to our table. The third waiter seemed to lose his eyesight when approaching our table and completely ignored us in favor of walking around for a minute or so. I gave up on the sauce after that.
When it was time to get the bill, the waiter who was cleaning out our table decided that the neighbouring table had finished eating despite their plates being half-full. We tried to tell him that they had gone up to smoke a cigarette and might not have finished eating, to which the waiter calmly replied «no». There might have been a language barrier there. It also took 4 waiters to get us the bill, but that seemed fairly professional after all the other events.
The shrimp was also not properly de-veined, but other than that the food...
Read moreI'm puzzled by this restaurant's 4.6-star rating - it makes me wonder if some reviews are bought. Our experience was far from stellar.
We waited about 40 minutes for our food, during which time they tried to serve us dishes meant for another table. When our food finally arrived, the fried squid was mediocre at best, with oil that tasted old and had an off-putting flavor.
The staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests, rushing around in a frenzy. This made it nearly impossible to flag down a waiter when needed. They forgot our sauces, and we couldn't get anyone's attention to rectify the situation.
The restroom was far from clean, which is always a red flag. The overall ambiance was strange - it felt more like a bistro than a proper restaurant.
Oddly, we observed inconsistent service times. While another group complained about an excessively long wait, the couple next to us received their food within 5 minutes of ordering.
The only saving grace was the price, which was reasonable for the food. However, given the subpar experience, even that doesn't justify a return visit.
In summary, this place has a lot of room for improvement in terms of food quality, service, and cleanliness. I'd think twice before believing the...
Read moreI don’t know why it has such high rating. This restaurant probably bought countless Rednote promotions and it is still blatantly discriminating against Asians! I went to this restaurant yesterday afternoon when I was a little hungry. The waiter asked us to sit in one seat, and when we were about to order, four people were waiting at the door to come in. Here comes the point! It was not peak time, and there were many empty tables around with no one sitting. The waiter came over and told us to sit somewhere else because it was a table for four, but in fact all the tables in this restaurant are all tables for four. I was really shocked at the time and didn't realize that this was blatant discrimination. Later, when I sat down, I found other people sat down as soon as they arrived without any troubles from that waiter. It was really a different treatment. The taste of the food was also bad, like microwave frozen food. I can only say the quantity is large and filling. If you want to have more Asian tourists to come, please stop discriminating and...
