South Dock — Restaurant in Niort

Perfect restaurant, right next door to another busy place. It's easy to think you are in either one but not realise, so take care to choice which you are wanting to eat at. We chose the 32euro set menu and had a pitcher of house white wine. All my food was really good, all cooked very well and I found it tasty. My partner also enjoyed his food. Plenty of bread and water too. It was a very hot day so we enjoyed the shade. One waitress/owner was very smiley and warm but the other waitress/owner had a rather parisienne service! It took some work to get her to smile but we managed it in the end, then she was very nice. Probably is a little over priced for the food but the location certainly covered the extra for me. Refus de la salle intérieure à trois chihuahuas dans un landeau (extrêmement propre) alors que la pièce était vide et y ai resté. Donc, repas en terrasse obligatoire. Je précise température extérieure avoisinant les 17°, intérieure 22/23° environ. Clients de la soirée: 5 personnes mais, en terrasse, sinon refusé; Un couple d'un certain âge à une autre table, prenaient un dîner nocturne (vestes et foulard, de rigueur) Nous étions 3, mon amie féminine ayant une très grande envie d'un plat à la carte, nous sommes restés, malgré ma première impression "fuir" Accueil et service, fait par deux femmes aussi agréable l'une que l'autre 😕 Mesdames, nos suggestions sur Investissements, à prévoir: Sourires Amabilité Correction envers le client Nettoyage des sanitaires. Tête de loup et femme de ménage pour les toiles d'araignées. Avec un achat illimité de politesse.

Dénigration du client dans son dos des moins discrète, à plusieurs reprises. Dommage l'emplacement de ce restaurant est très charmant.

Pour répondre à votre réflection dans notre dos alors que l'un de nous, été encore sur place "mais d'où ils sortent ceux là", le seul bémol pour vous, la réponse est de Charentes Maritime, que, quelques kilomètres nous séparent (très ennuyeux pour le bouche à oreilles qui est la publicité la plus vendeuse) Ayant été 38 ans à la tête d'une entreprise, notre mot final est AHURISSANT, et simplement INCROYABLE comme incorrection.

The lady was gentle and helpfull, but that is the only positive point from visit to that restaurant. I had a fish dish (see picture below) the crayfish had taste of ammoniac not fresh at all. The salmon was backed in too much fat and the white fish was not tasty. Partner has a dish with local specialities (picture below with red crayfish) his crzyfish also not fresh an no meat in tail.
