Amazing experience! As a tourist, this was definitely one of the best meals during my 6 day stay in Paris. The food was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fresh and value for money, the steaks were good and the portion sizes are perfect. The prices were very reasonable but there was a 15% service charge. The service was spot on and our waiter was very nice and helpful. Also, the waiter was also very attentive, he waited for us to finish our food before asking us if it's okay to serve the other foods. A detail that not all restaurants care about. The location isn't in a very touristy place but if you do happen to visit Roland Garros or PSG then I would 100% come back again. It's not everyday you have a good and value meal in Paris, especially in those touristy places where prices are unreasonable and everywheres crowded. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant...
Read moreHorrible, don't go! Went on a work event for dinner. We were a very big group and had booked the entire second floor in advance. A 3 course formule plus beverages for 51 euros.
I won't complain about the slow service because there were so many of us. However, the meal was insulting for the value paid. They left open bottles of wine on the tables before we arrived, that were clearly empty bottles they filled with boxed low-quality wine. They did not hide it well though, as they put red wine in white wine bottles... it was undrinkable. The appetizer and the main course were cold and unseasoned. The desert was below average creme brulée.
I live in Paris. Believe me, you can eat and drink A LOT better for 51 euros in most places. Especially when you know you are having a big number of guests and can shop in advance. It was a big disappointment....
Read moreUsed to go to Congrès Maillot for over 20 years.. Decided to try Congrès Auteuil for lunch... Big Mistake... The tartare was OK, the fries needed a visit to McDonald's.. Instead of dried 'sliced pain de siegle', asked for a regular baguette for bread, as the case of any other restaurant in France, was told first that they were "out of it". Made a point that they were barely 10 occupied tables!! Profiteroles for DESSERT, the chocolate sauce was very diluted and watery... At the end of the dinner, maître d' asked if we enjoyed the lunch. I mentioned the baguette issue.. Response: for "ecological reason" they do not supply the baquette as bread!!! But... Foie gras and magret de canard (on the menu) are "ecological" ... What a joke... Remind me of a joke at McDonald's : MAXI fries with DOUBLE cheese burger and DIET coke... One visit...
