I’m never one to leave a review, but for this place I had to. What an incredible experience! We came in late at night, and had a little trouble finding it. But where you would least expect it, a beautiful, quaint restaurant is nestled in a hidden corner patio. The atmosphere was cozy and warm but maintained an air of elegance. There is no English menu, but everything ordered came out delicious and beautifully plated. Every plate was sent back clean. The deserts were the cherry on top, an absolute must if you come in. Our server was so friendly, and the owner Maria (I believe this is her name) assisted us with any questions. At the end of the night, we were able to meet the chef and the rest of the staff and they were all such inviting and helpful people. A must-see for anyone in Perpignan, and we will definitely be coming back!

The place is nice, the atmosphere is great and the personnel was welcoming, I wish only the food was good as well. Risotto was overcooked, chicken was raw inside and clams were full of sand and shell fragments. The bottle of wine we ordered was served already opened on the table, we just hoped we drank what we ordered. I am not used to being so critical but unfortunately this was not a good experience, also not expected for a supposedly high end menu price so I am fairly disappointed. Ultimately my mates had to wait for my order for a half an hour after they finished the lunch because there was an error In the order, but we understood why it took so long to make my vegetarian dish: the eggplant took time to burn.

A wonderful hidden restaurant that is still near the old city center. The experience is worth the trip/ exploration. The menu is small and changes seasonally. In September there were 3 meat dishes, 3 fish, and 1 or 2 vegetarian. The wine list however is rather generous. The menu does have English translations. The staff was very helpful and attentive. When traveling we do not like to eat at the same restaurant more than once- Le Sud was a happy exception! Excellent

Horrible experience. I booked online via email one month in advance. We arrived at the restaurant and we were offered the last table in a dark corner where all waiters could not see us. They were all super stressed and running around. They were making us feel uncomfortable. However and despite being the third year in a raw that we came to this place during visa pour l image, this time they did not have an open menu but a fixed one for 52€! They didn’t tell me anything when I booked. I talked to the owner and she was super rude and unfriendly to us, complaining that during this event they were very busy and decided to avoid having an open menu. I came to this place every year and it was always packed. Some years without reservation and they always had space for us. I knew they get busy this time of the year but it was not a problem in the past. However this time the owner decided to radically change the options for her customers without warning the customers who were booking tables in advance and even talked to us like if we were stupids. Sorry madame, but we will never spend our money at such a place where customers are treated like...

NEVER EAT HERE!! Worst dining experience on any holiday ever. The appetizers took over an hour to arrive after ordering, and I ended up hospitalized with food poisoning from the mussels (confirmed by emergency doctors). The owner explained the very slow service by telling us all about how she staffs the restaurant (we don't care, seat less tables then!) and offered no discount, free dessert, nothing! It took 3 hours for drink, appy, & main. We definitely didn't risk coffee or dessert. When my partner called to tell her about my poisening, she begrudgingly apologized after refusing to accept responsibility (I was vomiting by 6 am, it was your food!) and offered no refund, partial or otherwise. Steer clear, this place has both horrible service and is potentially dangerous,...
