Viet Thai — Restaurant in Perpignan

Yesterday my husband and I tried Viet Thai for the first time. I cannot fault the service at all. The wait staff are kind and so was the owner.

Unfortunately though both my husband and I got food poisoning. We were shocked that our chicken pad Thai arrived so quickly to our table, while upon eating it I noticed that the chicken was very rubbery which was turning me off the meal. It felt undercooked and so I stopped eating it and my husband ate mine instead (as he’s a bit more brave) unfortunately we both got food poisoning that night from the chicken.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews and I’m only leaving this review so the restaurant can keep an eye on how quick they cook certain meats. I appreciate the meal coming out quickly but not at the expense...

Very good food. Super friendly service. Vegetarian-friendly menu with delicious options. In the photos below — vegetable and tofu soup with noodles and pad Thai with tofu. I’m giving four starts instead of five only because there weren’t any vegetarian starters, which are always delicious in Asian restaurants. My suggestion would be to add spring rolls and dumplings with vegetables. My experience was very unpleasant. When we arrived, my Kids and me, an older guy (probably the owner) came out and I was asking him if they do takeaway and he said no take away in a really rude tone. So we decided to eat in and sat down. We have been waiting for 15 minutes and nobody was serving us. Although others arriving at the same time as us had already their drinks.
