PIZZERIA DU PORT — Restaurant in Quimper

Decided to eat here on our last night , with our 3 granddaughters , before heading back to the UK . Booked a table for 5 lunchtime for the evening . Lovely location overlooking the harbour . Pizzas were excellent and service and atmosphere were great . Rather surprised at the score of 4.1 . However when we were there people were trying to come without booking . They saw a couple of empty tables but were told already booked . A few minutes later the diners who had booked had turned up . Given it's location and quality of food why do people assume because it's a Pizza restaurant they don't need to book . All the other restaurants in the harbour were fully booked . Encore un endroit que l'on hésite à faire connaître et à partager tant on a envie de le protéger et d'en profiter que pour soi, jalousement ! Une des meilleures pizzeria, si ce n'est la meilleure tout court, on fait une demie-heure de route, juste pour savourer à chaque fois cet instant privilégié. Une vue sur Bénodet et l'Odet, le port et sa tranquillité. Une petite terrasse ombragée,au calme, rien de mieux pour déguster une pizza ! Seul bémol, les assiettes sont trop petites pour accueillir ces merveilles ! Jamais un faux pas, toujours la même rigueur et surtout toujours aussi généreuses et bonnes ! Le patron vous accueille chaleureusement avec le sourire ainsi que le personnel, discret, efficace et compétent. Bref, un vrai réel plaisir. Un déjeuner en famille pour la fête des pères...
