Ninkasi Rouen — Restaurant in Rouen

We were on Europe tour with my family of 5. Three adults and 2 kids aged 8 and 13. Of all the countries and restaurants we have been for the last 8 days this is by far the worst of all. We came in at 9 pm at this place. Sat for more than 30 minutes without anyone coming to get our order. Then when we finally get to order, we sat there and had our drinks while watching everyone else come and go as they finished their ordered dinner. Around 10:30 pm my partner asked the waiter politely where is our food, she didn't even answer him and just turned around to disappear. She is done for the night. The restaurant is closing at 11pm and still we havent gotten our food by 10:45. We were all very hungry and by the the time we got what we ordered it was so late the food was dismal and half hazardly done. Obviously it was made in haste and hurry. My partner being worried that the place will soon close ate fast and almost got choked that scared our 8 year old boy. It caused quite a scene. The poor waiter who came in later shift had to apologize to us when it was not even his fault. We left the restaurant and our half eaten food clearly...

Don’t waste your time.. just ignore this place. We wanted to order drinks during happy hours which were to end at 8pm. Asked the waiter at 7.45pm.. he took orders from each and every table except ours and then disappeared. Finally managed to get the attention of another waiter who took our order at 8:10pm. The beer was served promptly which means our order was received. Food came a good 50mins later after we followed up. Those around us had a three course meal and left before us. A large group of our friends went here yesterday and we had delicious drinks, and burgers. I had a virgin mojito mangue passion and the Chicki Minaj they were soooo good! The chicken was perfect, it had a yummy sauce and jalapeños! The fries were excellent too. I ordered an iced coffee at the end and it was really good. The staff and service was amazing and very well organized. We clapped at the end we were so happy with everything. Definitely recommend this place for...
