La Petite Plage: An Unforgettable Dining and Dancing Experience

Nestled along the scenic coastline, La Petite Plage offers a charming ambiance that perfectly blends coastal elegance with a relaxed, beachy vibe. The decor features rustic wooden furniture, soft lighting, and nautical accents, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. As the sun sets, the restaurant's outdoor seating provides a breathtaking ocean view, enhancing the enchanting dining experience.

The culinary offerings at La Petite Plage are nothing short of spectacular, boasting a diverse menu crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Highlights include the succulent grilled seafood platter, seared scallops, and flavorful bouillabaisse, with vegetarian options like the roasted vegetable tart and creamy risotto standing out. The impeccable service, with attentive and knowledgeable staff, further elevates the dining experience.

As dinner winds down, La Petite Plage seamlessly transforms into a lively dance party. The soft background music shifts to upbeat tunes, and the lights dim slightly to create a festive ambiance. A DJ takes the stage, and the dining area becomes a vibrant dance floor where guests can let loose and dance the night away under the stars. La Petite Plage is a destination where exceptional cuisine and unforgettable experiences converge, making it highly recommended for those seeking a unique and...

We frankly had a wonderful experience at Le Petite Plage. Our reservation was at 7pm and we were promptly seated outside on the patio along the harbor.

The food was simple and very good. We had the Charred Broccoli appetizer, followed by the roasted chicken, beef filet, and ravioli, with a side of truffle mashed potatoes. Every dish was excellent, and for dessert we had another winner with the delicious “giant cookie for two”.

Our server was pleasant, though a little overworked toward the end of the meal. The only negatives were (1) getting our bill took longer than expected (as the server was running three or four new tables) and (2) the beef was slightly overcooked.

We did not read the reviews before going but I am surprised by some of the negativity. It seems most are focused on (1) prices (which, yes, it is expensive but that’s the island) and (2) on a desire to “party” at the restaurant late at night (that carries no interest for me, so I cannot relate). In terms of our experience, it was...

From the outside, I thought this place was a MUST before I left St. Barths but I left disappointed. I choose to go here instead of Bagatelles white party on Saturday and I highly regret this. Knowing that we wanted to party after dinner, I requested indoor seating but when we got there, we were seated all the way in the back at a table for 10 people while there was only 2 of us, yet there were open tables in the front where the party was. When seated, she said “you guys get this whole table to yourselves” as if that was something good. I didn’t pay it any mind at first because I thought maybe the back will turn into a party as well but it never did. $300 wasted in my opinion. I will say, the food was fresh and well made besides the undercooked noodles that we were scared to send back because this place is known for not taking stuff off the bill if you don’t like it. Save your time and go to Bagatelle or Sella unless you’re with locals or look like you have...

Overall fun atmosphere. Unfortunately our waiter, Jordan, ruined our experience and the manager did nothing to help. We were told we could not just order a few small plates and drinks (which is a lie) and got talked into a 140 euro plate of meat- whatever- we confirmed the price multiple times with him. When the meat was brought to our table it was raw. We asked for medium rare. It was sent back and returned to us charred. Then when we got the bill the meat was 280 euro. He said this is what we ordered and he knew it wasn’t. Also, we ordered another round of drinks (multiple martinis, one was gin and others vodka) he brought all vodka and said that’s what we ordered, even though it was not. They would not correct any of their mistakes and were extremely rude. Jordan was trying to scam us and it was very evident. The manager said they would not remove the incorrect martini or the overcharged, charred meat because the owner would flip out.

Was in St Barths and was told this place was an absolute MUST. Well to our surprise we were not impressed at all. We sat outside with a view of the water but there were so many people walking back and forth (drunk people) it seemed a bit sketchy. We got the wine menu and they asked us right away what wine we wanted we hadn’t even seen the dinner menu so how could we pick a wine yet when we aren’t even sure of what we are eating? The service was very rushed and very lousy. You could tell they wanted us to leave because we were the only people left outside yet it was only 11pm and they don't close until 2am. Food was poor with very high prices across the entire menu. Ravioli was served super cold. Had the veal chop which was ok.. We always look over the dessert menu but not here felt rushed + dinner was awful. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, head to bonito!!
