Read moreWe frankly had a wonderful experience at Le Petite Plage. Our reservation was at 7pm and we were promptly seated outside on the patio along the harbor.
The food was simple and very good. We had the Charred Broccoli appetizer, followed by the roasted chicken, beef filet, and ravioli, with a side of truffle mashed potatoes. Every dish was excellent, and for dessert we had another winner with the delicious “giant cookie for two”.
Our server was pleasant, though a little overworked toward the end of the meal. The only negatives were (1) getting our bill took longer than expected (as the server was running three or four new tables) and (2) the beef was slightly overcooked.
We did not read the reviews before going but I am surprised by some of the negativity. Read moreFrom the outside, I thought this place was a MUST before I left St. Barths but I left disappointed. I choose to go here instead of Bagatelles white party on Saturday and I highly regret this. Knowing that we wanted to party after dinner, I requested indoor seating but when we got there, we were seated all the way in the back at a table for 10 people while there was only 2 of us, yet there were open tables in the front where the party was. When seated, she said “you guys get this whole table to yourselves” as if that was something good. I didn’t pay it any mind at first because I thought maybe the back will turn into a party as well but it never did. $300 wasted in my opinion. I will say, the food was fresh and well made besides the undercooked noodles that we were scared to send back because this place is known for not taking stuff off the bill if you don’t like it. Save your time and go to Bagatelle or Sella unless you’re with locals or look like you have...
