Wow wow wow wow wow. Dinner at Le Café was maybe the most fun dinner I have ever had anywhere ever.
The vibe/ambiance of this restaurant is everything. To be completely honest with you, I don’t 100% remember if I enjoyed the food or not but it did not matter because I was having so much fun. The DJ, piano player singer combo was 10/10. The playlist was all over the place in the best way. Every song was a banger and I was dancing in my seat the whole meal. After dinner service the proper dancing began and I did not leave until my group dragged me out because they were closing.
If you insist on knowing about the food… I believe I ordered the zucchini carpaccio to start and the truffle ravioli on the special menu. Carpaccio was good if a little salty and the ravioli was a good cheese ravioli but didn’t really taste like truffle.
Go for dinner, but you aren’t necessarily going for the food you are going for the experience. I cannot wait...
Read moreThe most bizzare atmosphere I've ever experienced in a restaurant.
The service was absolutely awful. This was due to a judgemental environment driven purely by the staff. We were treated differently based on our appearance being non-extravigant compared to the rest of the crowd. We noticed staff gossiping about every new visitor that arrived in the restaurant.
We were not asked regarding specials, we were not offered bread, we were not asked if we wanted wine. Meanwhile tables around us were wined and dined by the staff. Staff were also so rude to us when ordering - e.g "what do you want to drink" + "what do you want to eat" & that's all we received from the wait staff... Compared to every other table that received the royal treatment!
We noticed other tables having different level of service that we did not have.
It's all about the size of the watch you have here!!! What a pretentious environment

Read moreWe loved every beat of it, from our Tahitian waitress, very attentive, elegant, and efficient to our host we had the pleasure to meet with, M. Stephane. Very often in the French Brasserie that becomes festive throughout the night, the food is sometimes so, so. Not HERE! One of our favorite dining experiences during our stay! The escargot, pata negra, and Os a Moelle were just memorable. The sole meuniere was just to the T. The sommelier was excellent at helping us with our wine pairing. Last but also delicious to make a nice print of that evening, was the entertainment! It went so perfectly, we could have a dinner talk with our friends, listening to some European grand classic until it tuned up. The trio DJ, a guitarist, and a beautiful blond vocalist was amazing. A night of brasserie with a cabaret feel with an amazing culinary...
