Quay 911 Sarl — Restaurant in Saint-Brieuc

Good service to start with and good ambiance with a view. We ordered two st. Pierre fish. The taste of the fish was very bland (despite the sauce which was ok) and felt like they were boiled. We politely and discreetly asked to send it back, which was kindly accepted by the initial serveur, he asked me what I would like in exchange and I asked for fish and chips (not because I don’t have a “refined” taste but because it’s a dish that is hard to mess up + I was frustratingly hungry at this point). A few minutes later a new serveur came, who gave a loud, patronising and pretentious speech of 10 mins on how they are experts on cooking fish. Sentences like “the only way to cook st Pierre is in the oven, I am curious to know how you cook your st Pierre” were used (not true as my wife had it several times on the plancha before). Not surprised now that I read some other reviews. I was then asked to pay for half of the fish and chips as a “gesture” from the restaurant - and not the more expensive dish that I tried and didn’t eat but the much cheaper fish and chips. When we paid at the counter, we were met with an equally hostile vibe from the cashier, even though we politely tried to diffuse the situation. It almost felt like that the staff are nice to you only if you appreciate the food. Well at least they have solidarity in that.

Nous sommes venus sur St quai ce dimanche 29 mai pour visiter et à l'heure du repas tous les restaurants étaient complet, dans une dernière tentative j'ai passé un appel au quai 911 et par chance une table en terrasse venait de ce libérer, nous avons été très bien accueilli, l'équipe de salle est très sympathique et de bon conseil. Cuisine fraîche et je pense quasiment que du fait maison, mon fils a pris un fish and chips qui était très bon avec des frite fraîche et une sauce tartare maison,, nous avons pris le menu à 35€ c'était très bon (suggestion du jour filet de St Pierre, très bien cuit, félicitation au chef), seul petit bemole pour moi trop de vinaigre balsamique sur tous les plats les plats seraient meilleur sans le vinaigre. En tous cas nous avons passé un très bon moment, merci à toute l'équipe...

Pas du tout de la région et en visite au Port de Saint Quay Portrieux, on décide de regarder les cartes des restaurants en se baladant. Toutes les unes plus alléchantes que les autres, celle du Quai 911 nous a tapé dans l'œil, en plus de la magnifique vue panoramique. Nous décidons de réserver et on a bien fait pour le lendemain. Nous arrivons à l'entrée du restaurant, où nous sommes accueilli avec sourire et gentillesse. Nous prenons, un apéro, un menu et à la carte. Le service se fait courtois, agréable et toujours en demandant si nous souhaitons la suite. Nous avons opté pour des Saint Jacques au foie gras et de la lotte. Un regal pour les papilles. Une belle découverte de produits locaux, une cuisine raffinée et un accueil et service très agréable. Merci pour ce beau moment. Bonne continuation à...
