A truly fantastic meal. We went there on the off chance they may be open, and we were very pleasantly surprised. I sampled a few of their different curries available on the day. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the well balanced green chilli sauce that accompanied the curry. The owner came to check up on us after the meal, and I asked him how he created the green chilli sauce, he proceeded to provide me with the recipe and offered to send some with me when I left. He then came back out of the kitchen and told me I needed to try a Chinese dish he had prepared that day. This dish was equally as impressive. I have visited this cozy place because it was recommended by my friends - now I can recommend it to everyone! We have now eaten here for 4 days in a row and each every time it was great experience. Owner is very friendly and pays attention to every customer, he also speaks English. You feel taken care of. The best restaurant I have visited on this island. Food is always delicious and served quickly. We have tried different meals and desserts and everything was presented nicely and tasted great. Hello from Canada! My partner and I were swept (literally) off our feet when we walked into this cozy restaurant in Saint-Denis. We expressed our apologies to the lovely couple who owned the restaurant (the husband serving us with enthusiasm and the wife bringing us her cooked foods directly) since we had to run to take the bus to the airport, but they recommended us the special and guaranteed that we would make it on time.
