Restaurant Villa d'Asie La Bresse — Restaurant in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges

Waiting time for a medium sized take out order was about 45 minutes, even though no one else seemed to be in line for orders the the tables inside were not filled too much. (Read: There didn't seem to be any out of the ordinairy reason for the waiting time).

Ordered several double and triple portions, which were put in slighty bigger boxes than usual but were hardly filled for 70%. Paid €78,- for the total portion but it was hardly enough for 5 big portions, while we were with 7. (At my local Chinese I get huge potions for 10p.p. or medium portions for 7p.p.)

They also forgot to add the Chicken Saté, which we ordered 2 portions of, for a total of €18,-. Sadly we had already driven back to our campsite for 25 minutes (We started eating there), not making it worth the trip back to get the forgotten portions.

If price and a waiting time are no issues for you this place might be oke, the food is actually quite decent. Too bad the rest is all sub-par. But definitely expect to be spending 12-15 euros per person for take-out if you want a decent big portion and a long waiting time (Can be fixed by...

-Summary: Group: 13 people. Order: Mix of 17 dishes & 15 times rice/noodles. Food quality: Average. Portion size: Very small. Price: Expensive for the amount of food received. Conclusion: Not worth the money. I don't recommend ordering here.

-Full: We called first to make sure they were open. They told us they didn't have a digital menu available, so we had to drive over, order our food and wait for 30 min. This way of working if suboptimal for a take-away restaurant.

Our total order was a mix of 17 dishes with 15 portions of rice/noodles. The portions received were very small and we only received one 'BIG' box of rice and one 'BIG' box of noodles. The price paid compared to the amount of food received is very high. The quality of the food was okay but nothing special.

Arrivée dans le restaurant à 19h30 après avoir réservée la veille. Accueil très moyen voir inadapté quand on accueille des clients ! nous avions l’impression de déranger… à 19h45 toujours pas signe de la serveuse ? Patronne ? En même temps elle est seule à servir, accueillir, encaisser et répondre au téléphone… mais bon dans ce cas on se fait aider! C’est ma fille (11 ans) qui en la regardant a récolté une belle remarque : « je fais ce que je peux, j’arrive, pas la peine de me regarder » mais au moins elle a pris la commande (nous avons demandé l’apéro et le reste du repas afin d’éviter une attente trop longue ensuite ). Qqs minutes après, Elle nous a balancé ensuite nos 2 boissons commandées sur notre table (je dis bien balancé on ne peut pas dire autrement…) sans verre…, les bouteilles en verre, point! Repas long du début à la fin… même si repas correct! Pour y être allée déjà 2 fois avant celui ci et ben ce fut mon dernier, hier soir.
