Le Chalet du Moulin — Restaurant in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne

DO NOT EAT HERE. We had a reservation at 20:45 for 17 people. We got seated after more than half a hour in which we had to wait outside in the cold. Once inside we ordered wine, burgers and a mix of vegetarian and meat fondue. A couple of the dishes we ordered did not arrive, when we asked what happened the waiter (a tall man with glasses) was extremely rude, told us it was our fault and then even refused to speak with us. At one point the waiter even started having a huge discussion with one of our friends. After waiting for more than 1,5 hours we finally all got the food. The vegetarian fondue (22 euros per person) consisted of +- one raw paprika, some raw mushrooms and lettuce. Overall it was a horrible experience which cost us a lot of money. Only one of the waiters (who was wearing gloves) was very friendly and was able to help us to bring us the food we ordered. Please save your time and money and eat in any of the other lovely...

One of the worst experiences ever, and I am not a “tough” client to satisfy at all. Terrible waiters - except for one, the only one that seemed to be working and also the only one that spoke English. We had a reservation for 20 people and when we came to the restaurant, no one seemed to give a sh*t for our reservation and we had to wait outside, in -3 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes to get a table. And even after we sat down we had to wait almost 2 hours for the waiter to take our order. They claim they have an all you can eat menus but beware, if you leave anything on the plate you have to pay extra at the end. And on top of everything, 2 waiters yelled at us and lied about not speaking English, and they were extremely rude. The price is also very high especially for the quality you’re getting with service as well. I feel bad for the one waiter who basically did everything by himself and was the only one competent...

Had a reservation for 17 people. Came there on time, had to wait 45 min for our table. The bald waiter with the glasses had a really bad attitude from the beginning. They screwed up the orderes wanted us to change our sitting positions while we were already seated as we wanted to. The waiter with the attitude also shouted on one of the guests and was very disrespectful. The other two waiters (girl with orange hair and guy with short brown hair) and the food were the only positive thing...
