La Strada — Restaurant in Saint-Malo

A light and airy environment, nicely decorated. Very attentive, welcoming and smiley staff. Our well behaved, quiet dogs were very welcome. All food served was excellent and cooked with fresh, top ingredients. the walls would benefit from more art being displayed, as a mean to absorb sound, as I can imagine, it can become loud when very busy, as some other people have pointed out in their posts. My children have written below their review. Teen Daughter's point of view: Dogs accepted warmly , as soon as we came in, our two dogs where given a small carpet to lay on and a water bowl. Nice food , nothing exceptional but still a good solid meal. Our waiter could not have been more pleasant, bubbly and welcoming :). The atmosphere was homey albeit a bit loud once more people came in. Clean environment and toilets. would probably be better suited to lunch than dinner. Warm, bubbly and welcoming waiter. Beautiful and homey atmosphere with beautiful lights, comfy seats, and paintings with funny quotes too!! Only spoiled a bit by the fact that it is near a massive parking lot. I personally found it quite quiet but the sound escalated overtime . Overall...

Restaurant qui a tout compris pour mettre ses clients dehors rapidement. Arrivée de nos convives entre 19h30 et 20h00 sachant que le restaurant affiche clairement des amplitudes d'ouverture de 19h00 à 22h00. À 20h15 on vous fait comprendre clairement qu'il faut commander vos desserts alors que vous êtes à peine à la fin de l'entrée. À cela vous indique calment qu'il est quand même indiqué qu'ils ferment à 22h00 et on vous réponds que la cuisine ferme plus tôt ce soir, 20h15 contre 22h? Ce n'est pas plus tôt c'est presque une fermeture dès le début de service, n'ouvrez pas le service dans ces conditions ... peut-être qu'il y avait match à regarder ce soir là. À peine la moitié de l'entrée consommé avec des gardiens non agréables vous regardant avec insistance, on vient vous voir et vous dit clairement qu'il faut passer au plat car, on suppose, la cuisine s'impatiente... de plus, pour votre information, en salle on se doit d'avoir une attitude professionnelle vis à vis de la clientèle, c'est la base de notre métier, pour finir, les ongles trop longs, ça le fait pas... si ça ne vous plaît pas de travailler avec les contraintes de la restauration, changer de métier, ça recrute en usine avec des horaires non variables et pas de clients à gérer... juste...

Uncomplicated Italian restaurant and pizza done well. Friendly service, Italian chef and it shows. The carbonara didn’t involve cream! Tiramisu was made in a Pyrex tray the way god intended, no mistaking its coffee heritage. In the commercial zone, not the Main Street so trust google maps. A perfect little find....
