This place! Go there. The staff are amazing, outdoor seating is plentiful and fun, and the food is ... peerless. Best coq au vin of my life!

We were in Les Eyzies for about four days and went there twice. Once for the full menu and once for drinks and cheese and fois gras. Both experiences were delightful.

The clientele is a mix of locals and tourists, young and old, French and not French. The food comes out fast, their wines are excellent, and it's very affordable. If I lived in Les Eyzies, I'd eat that coq au vin once a week at least!!

I hope to return if I'm ever in the region...

Stopped off for lunch and we were so glad we did. The owner was amazing, made us feel so welcome. Food was really good, nothing fancy but tasty and honest. We had a jug of red wine for about €5 and it was plenty for 4 glasses and really good. Coque au vin was delicious as was the calzone. Make sure you have room for a desert, well worth it. Avoid. Waited a long time before being given any menus and then waited almost an hour for our food to be served (one pizza and one side to share between a table of 2, so not a large order). Food was very mediocre when it eventually arrived. Went up to the bar to pay to avoid having to wait for the bill to be brought over.
