We arrived just after noon, when the restaurant openes, to celebrate my husband's birthday and try highly recommended crepes. We were the first guests. ALL tables inside and on the patio were empty. Still, the staff informed us that they cannot accommodate a group of 10 (four kids, an elder on crutches) without a reservation, because there is only three of them. The website suggests reservation but it is not mandatory and there is nothing there about "large" groups. I have picked this particular place based on the great reviews of food and service. La seule vraie crêperie ouverte à l année aux Eyzies. Si vous cherchez un endroit calme, où l on prend son temps loin de l agitation, c est ici. Les galettes sont bonnes, traditionnelles (pas de confit ou de foie gras ou autres mélanges bizarres)et copieusement servies, cuisinées avec des produits locaux de qualité. Pâte à galette faite maison, avec des farines bio. Une ambiance sereine, locale et en toute simplicité et décontraction loin des « pièges à touristes « . Le rapport qualité /prix est surtout excellent. Méfiez vous d autres établissements qui ont une très bonne note mise par des gens qui ont 2 ou 3 avis à leur actif … Crêperie plébiscitée par les locaux depuis son ouverture ce qui est toujours bon signe. Propriétaires de gîtes nous y envoyons nos clients les yeux fermés. Oubliez les avis des touristes qui ne font que passer et ne connaissent pas la vie rurale et ne conçoivent pas qu une table au restaurant se réserve.
