2023 Sept: Management has changed. The hotel is still great and welcoming. The rooms are modern and clean. I could not test the restaurant. 2022 Sept: 4~5/5 star for hotel and 2/5 star for restaurant. The diner was disappointing. No error .. but no kick either and prices are at the level of a entry-level gastronomic (starters 13~15€ and main dishes 18~32€). Hotel services are very good. Welcoming and hosting are great for the price (120€ + breakfast). The hotel was renewed 5 years ago in a modern-style traditional Alsace brand. The restaurant staff suffered from Covid. The team is currently being rebuilt .. but the chef remained .. The salad topping and side-dishes were similar across all dishes we ordered. The meat tartare was too bitter, masking the excellent simenthal meat used. The daurade ceviche was not really seasoned. The porc iberico was cooked perfectly but did not really taste porc. The number of staff in kitchen as reduced for the number of guests, which may explain an absence of research in the dishes although no mistake in any of them. We ordered a Bourgogne pinot noir (49€) that came out of the fridge .. colder than a white wine .. although the wine card is suggesting a pomerol at 4950€ the bottle .. somewhat of a gap there .. Overall a great address that has a significant room for improvement at the restaurant and, therefore, a big opportunity to take and becoming a reference in the Mulhouse region.

La bottiglia dell'acqua all'arrivo c'era.

What a beautiful hotel nestled in a little town! It is located next to a prison which used to be where coins were minted which just adds to the character of the place! The rooms are sublime! Beautifully decorated, HUGE with stunning glass bathrooms. The beds are super comfortable and the air con, tv, mini bar, coffee machine and fast WiFi all add to the luxury of this place. The breakfast was amazing! It may be €20 but you get what you pay for! We had great service, were made the best ham and cheese omelettes I have ever tasted and great eggs! Bacon was crispy and delicious. The pastries were delicious too. I can’t imagine that anyone would not find something they love for breakfast. I was with a 5 year old and she was well fed! The staff are at your disposal but work hard not to be intrusive. Parking was free and next to the hotel. Dogs accepted too! For what you get here, I think the price is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend a visit here. (They even have a serene sauna...

Went to this hotel after a day at the Petit Prince Park with my son nearby. ||The hotel is very elegant with a nice garden where we had dinner. ||The room was the standard one but I felt it was even more than standard level. Clean and nicely furnished. Dinner was very reasonably priced, I took the menu with 3 dishes as I was visiting with a small child who has little patience. Food was very nice, what surprised me was the fact they served no pasta, even for kids. The menu for kids was 11 euros including either meat/fish with rice and veggies + ice cream. I ate all as picky kids would have preferred pasta and t I must say it was delicious.||Next day breakfast was also of good quality and with a reasonable amount of variety. ||What surprised me was the personnel at the reception who did the check-out and spoke very little English. Fortunately a colleague of her helped out later. It was nothing major but just a bit of a shame. ||All in all a beautiful place to stay with nice rooms...
