Le Quarante-Sept — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

Public Picnic building built in 2019 it’s on LES LINDARETS plateau below and adjacent to the top ARDENT bubble lift station. It has a large PUPLIC PICNIC room with lots of tables, very well used in the SKI season must share tables and clear up after oneself it’s a good way of meeting other people.It also has a small BAR /SNACK hatch by the main entrance. The building is run by the MONTRIOND community. It’s Public Toilets replaces the old ones at the lift station. The toilets are unisex and are finished to a very high standard. Unfortunately through the 19/20 SKI season 3 out of 5 stalls were out of order,so the girls were always queuing. So toilets 1 star the rest of the building 5 star+. Check out the lights...

I have been more than once and I have to say that I like the concept of the Salle hors sac. The only problem is one of the guy (we think he is the owner) which is very rude. He might also have been right in some of the things we discussed about but there's always a way to expose them. For example today while I was using the free water to clean my pants he came screaming that I was wasting it. Again, you are right but you can maybe say politely. Not 5 minutes after sitting down at the open outdoor chairs, an angry employee (owner?) stormed out and cursed me out for “wasting the space” (there were MANY open chairs) and that the “chairs are not for resting”.
