Worst restaurant I have ever ate at with the most vile members of staff I have ever spoken to in my life. Would select zero stars if I could.

My boyfriend experienced an allergic reaction to a food item that wasn’t stated on the menu which come with our meal. We then received extreme verbal abuse from the staff who locked us in the restaurant and threatened to call the police…..

The waiters did not ask if we had any allergies or intolerances.

The food that we ordered come with aubergine which my boyfriend is extremely allergic to. This was not stated on the menu and was added by the chef without telling us. When the food arrived we questioned the waitress what the extra item was, who told us it was mushroom. After he started to eat the food my boyfriend started having an allergic reaction and was violently Ill in the restaurants toilets, with the waitress then telling us that it was in fact aubergine.

Due to being so unwell, he had barely ate his meal and when it come to pay the bill we were told that we had to pay in full. Even after letting the staff know what had happened. We asked to speak to the manager in person, rather than through the waitress to explain the situation and we were then told that we could receive 10% discount and then a further 20% discount.Due to her ‘selective language barrier’ when speaking in person she stood there laughing at us, made a complete fool out of us in-front of the whole restaurant and then locked us inside the restaurant. We then experienced verbal and almost physical violence from her staff. We were threatened with police also.

This vile manager of the restaurant is clearly completely incompetent and is the person who caused the situation to escalate the way it did.

I as a 22 year old woman, was surrounded by adult male members of staff who were screaming at full volume, personal comments about my partner.. for example saying that I shouldn’t be with him and calling him inappropriate names which was completely uncalled for.Obviously this made me extremely upset. No one wanted to listen to us even though they could all speak fluent English. I have never received so much abuse from restaurant staff. I have never been shouted like that my whole life. It was absolutely appalling. All we wanted to do was to pay for my meal and leave as my boyfriend was extremely sick.

All I wanted to do was to explain to the chef what had happened but not a single member of staff gave us the opportunity to speak. Good job my boyfriend has his epipen as it could have been fatal. What was a simple mistake by the waitress could have cost him his life, yet not a single member of staff had the decency to try and listen to what we were trying to tell them. They just assumed that we didn’t like their food and wanted to leave.

Once the waitress realised how far it had escalated she then said that she would pay for our food so we could leave. We both said no, we wanted to pay for my single meal, which we did and then left.

I cannot express how rude, arrogant and vile the staff were to us. I honestly still cannot believe it. We were so both so shook up by what had happened. I really hope that the staff members who worked that night develop their customer service skills and basic common decency to prevent this ever happening again.

As you can see below the owner has replied to my review along many other 1 star reviews in disbelief that what I have said is true. I have evidence of the amount that my boyfriend ate. We told the waitress he Is allergic from the start. we made it very clear that we were happy to pay for the food that I ate. If your staff noticed that I was sat at the table for an hour by myself then well observed. my boyfriend was Ill. Your customers sat next to us that night asked if we were okay. The fact that the owner is still making excuses and belittling our horrific experience instead of apologising is a testament to them as a human being. For a team who “cannot speak English” it is extremely interesting to read the narrative you have come up with even after...

Je ne suis pas habitué à noter les établissements dans lesquels je passe. Mais là, juste bravo.

Nous avons été servi, avec ma mère ainsi que ma femme par un charmant monsieur avec le sourire sous la tonnelle éphémère.

L’ambiance est chic et décontractée, la musique est vraiment agréable.

Maintenant le service. Hormis une erreur de commande sur nos cocktails en tout début de service, tout fut superbe. Nous étions venus le 10 Avril sur le coup des 13h30 : Pas d’attente, toujours avec le sourire. Ça fait vraiment très plaisir.

Au niveau du repas. Ce qui frappe tout d’abord, c’est que tout ce qui est présent sur leur carte donne envie. Pas forcément de choses très ostentatoires, mais qui fonctionnent très bien.

Ensuite, du plat jusqu’au dessert, tout était parfait. Le suprême de volaille de ma mère était cuit et tendre à la perfection, la sauce ainsi que les pommes grenailles étaient délicieuses. Le tartare de saumon aux agrumes de ma compagne agrémenté de guacamole était frai et goûtu. Mon burger avec sa sauce maison était juste à tomber par terre. Il s’agissait là de l’un des meilleurs burger que je n’ai jamais mangé de ma vie et je pèse mes mots. La cuisson était parfaite et les frites chaudes et croustillantes. À noter que les assiettes sont servies dans des plats chauds et c’est très agréable. En dessert un café gourmand, un riz au lait de coco ainsi qu’une crêpe au caramel au beurre salé pour finir le tout en beauté. Juste génial et gourmand.

C’est un 10/10. Amplement mérité.

Je me souviendrai longtemps de ce repas, étant restaurateur, car peu nombreux sont les prestations des restaurants qui laissent tant un si bon...

Malgré un service irréprochable quoique un peu rapide et un emplacement privilégié, quelle déception ! C’est plutôt prétentieux et très cher ! Ils proposent de tout, du croque monsieur à l’entrecôte (38 euros 😱) en passant par les pizzas…donc forcément on le sait ça ne peut pas être génial..La carte des vins est plutôt pas mal mais les prix, hallucinants !! Une pizza 4 fromages à 19€, du jamais vu, même dans la plus chic pizzeria de Paris INTRA MUROS et faut m’expliquer les 5 feuilles de roquettes au milieu sans assaisonnement...une pizza qui s’appelle Parmigiano, sans aubergine ? Une pizza avec de la sauce barbecue !!?? 😱… Les desserts sont pas mal aussi niveau je vous en mets plein la vue : on vous sort la cerise sur le gâteau et encore plus haut sur la pièce montée, mais pourquoi ? Ça ne sert à rien. Quand je prends un fondant au chocolat j’ai juste envie de manger un fondant..ok pour la boule de glace, ok pour la crème anglaise mais pas dans un bol…et alors les espèces de miettes de crumble au beurre salé…ça explique le prix mais c’est dommage..et quant aux crêpes, je ne les ai pas goûtées mais 8,90 une crêpe…du jamais vu… Bref c’est dommage, on sent l’envie de bien faire, mais il faut redescendre un peu et revoir un peu sa copie..la simplicité c’est ce qu’il y a de mieux et je suis sure que même à Lagny sur Marne, les clients apprécieraient une cuisine authentique et sans prétention. C’est dommage tous ces restaurants qui veulent faire genre comme à Paris…Parisienne, j’aimerais trouver des restaurants proposant de la cuisine simple un peu façon estaminet, bistrot de quartier etc…le potentiel est là mais la c’est dommage pour cette ville magnifique qui est épargnée par les...
