(edited after the second visit) Not as good as first time, but confirmed my feelings from last time: they are nicer to western customers.
I was being the only Asian face customer in this restaurant, for both time. I asked for chilly oil, and I saw them always bring the chill oil to other western customers, but not me.
I asked twice, then they gave me olive oil and salt and black pepper. I asked the third time then finally I had it.
That happened in my first time visit, I tried to ignore it. But when I came here the second time, for the Carbonara, however it was so bad that I can tell it was made by a different chef (and it was true after I checked with them).
And I also asked for the chill oil three times, finally they gave me a bottle of chilly oil from a western customer who was about to finish his pizza. I noticed the customer never used that chill oil.
I will not visit here again anyway.
Very good pasta and pizza and tiramisu. Very friendly staff. Fair price with good quality food. A bit busy but it...
Read moreThe worst Italian meal I have ever had. Stayed in Le Lavandou 2 weeks ago and this place was highly recommended. Very disappointed!! I chose seafood starter with Octipus, Octipus had not been prepared correctly, very chewy and slimy in the middle. The next course was not any better, chose the special on Sunday evening, Zuccini with pasta and Italian sausage. A plate of very dry pasta arrived on a bed of luke warm courgette puree sprinkled with small peices of Italian sausage. The pasta was inedible, tasted like it had been warmed up on the plate in a microwave!!! Over 80 euros for 2 courses of very badly prepared Italian food. Would...
