WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER! Unjokingly, this is the worst resturant my girlfriend and I have ever experienced. It is severely understaffed and the waiters are hopelessly stressed out, the table cloths are not changed for new guests and simply wiped down with an old, dirty rag. Finally, the food was the worst part. We both had the lobster linguine: overall, uneatable. Food reeked of stale sea odor and a dirty kitchen. Everything arrived basically cold; lobster was harder to chew than a shoe sole, linguine so overcooked they nearly fell apart, calling the "sauce" a sauce would be the biggest euphemism of the 21th century - more like some weird soy sauce drizzled over the overly soft linguine - and the odd clams inside (which shouldn't even have been there) looked like they sat on the counter for several hours. Addtitionally, there were some lost Edamame beans in the dish, which makes no sense at all. White wine was warm too.
We ate two bites and had to send it back. We complained to the waiter, however, did not receive any discount nor did they offer anything...
Read moreOur visit to Restaurant La Ramade, beautifully situated by the harbor in Le Lavandou, was nothing short of exceptional. The restaurant boasts a lovely view of the promenade and the bustling harbor, providing a picturesque backdrop for an unforgettable meal.
The culinary experience at La Ramade was truly remarkable. The food was, without a doubt, the best we’ve had during our stay in Le Lavandou. Each dish was a delightful blend of flavors, beautifully presented and expertly prepared. The portions were generous and full of taste, ensuring that we left completely satisfied.
One of the most impressive aspects was the value for money. The quality and quantity of the food offered at such reasonable prices is commendable. This combination of excellent cuisine and fair pricing makes La Ramade a standout choice.
In conclusion, La Ramade is a must-visit when in Le Lavandou. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable culinary adventure by the sea. We...
Read moreAbsolutely to avoid. We stayed in Le Lavandou for 1 night, on monday. Several restaurants were closed, so we had few choices. Also we were a large group, so at last we entered this restaurant. First of all, I have to say if you work in the tourism business, you must have an acceptable level of English knowledge. There’s no English menu, waiters know only a few words. We had to use Google Translate for understanding the menu, but with italic fonts was very hard. At last we chose tomatoes and mozzarella for the children. Mozzarella was YELLOW (being in France is not a valid excuse. You stay 2 hours from Italy ) and tomato was completely covered by garlic sauce that children don't appreciate at all. Adults weren’t more lucky. Dishes quite cold and far from good. The bill was low as...
