L’Absolu Restaurant — Restaurant in Toulouse

• updated review as I’m getting harassing messages from the woman that apparently is the owner no respectful business would even engage in conversations like this. * I have attached a screenshot of the woman reaching out to me and deleting her messages because she knows she’s in the wrong.

I’m honestly baffled by how this restaurant has a 4.8-star rating. I’ve been here twice, and both times they didn’t have half of what’s on their menu. The first time, I asked for chicken kebabs or chicken skewers, as listed on the menu, and was told they only had shawarma. I asked for a shawarma sandwich, and they said they didn’t have bread. I told them I’d come back the next day, and the man assured me they would have the chicken kebabs and dessert by then.

Today, I called ahead to confirm they had the chicken kebabs. A woman answered, confirmed they had them, and I let her know I’d be there within the hour. After driving 25-30 minutes through traffic, I arrive only for the same man from the night before to tell me they STILL didn’t have the chicken kebabs or dessert.

Looking at other reviews, it seems like it’s mostly friends and family hyping this place up. Both of my visits have been extremely disappointing, especially considering the time and effort it took to get there. Would not recommend this...

Une belle soirée gastronomique ! Un accueil au top des plats élaborés tout en finesse et des goûts très subtils dans des assiettes généreuses et joliment présentées. Un service raffiné mais pas bling bling.je noterai l excellence de la cuisson de l agneau confit que je n avais auparavant dégusté que dans un restaurant étoilé !un grand bravo pour le chef! Une adresse qui mérite le détour et je mettrais plutôt 10 étoiles !!!Même le café est excellent sans oublier la carte des vins!!il y a de la recherche et de l élégance dans cette cuisine! Même les tarifs des boissons nous ont parus excessifs( 6€ pour un kir 4€ le coca ..).c est dommage car c etait une bonne...
