I was looking at other business hotel closer to the centre (such as mercure), but my requested dates were fully booked so les arcades was my second option. From the photo on the booking.com, it looked decent therefore I decided to stay. However as I arrived (to the room no.6) the facilities were pretty poor and the room didn't look comfortable at all. The hotel doesn't have any staff present when the restaurant isn't open. There is little temperature control, and it is necessary to keep the window open to have any air- but the metal screen lets in some bugs and all the street and trolley noise. The very squeaky doors and loud locks make it hard not to awaken the other guests on your floor when you leave. However, it was clean, there was plenty of hot water, and if your priority is saving euros, and you are young and fit, you may be...
