Les Docks Restaurant — Restaurant in Verdun

The boss is very smiling and welcoming and greets each table. A bit too friendly, my niece didn't like that he put his hand on her head... But also this friendliness is just for show. I politely and kindly suggested to update their menu because they don't write all the ingredients of each dish. Being allergic, I carefully read the menu to be sure that I don't become sick (and die...). Fortunately the waitress could advise me because some ingredients were not written but were in the dish !! I also suggested to make an allergens menu to make it easier for clients and staff, he was very dismissive, saying with a big smile that there are fewer and fewer people with allergies and that he basically didn't have time for that.

Most waiters and waitresses do not know the menu nor if there is decaf or not, which made us think that there might a lot of turnover at this place. If the boss is as respectful of his staff as he is of the dietary restrictions of...

Had a very bad experience there. The food was at most edible. The pizza I had wasn't even done with pizza dough. We had three different waiters. One of them forgot half the things we told her on the way back to the kitchen. For every step of the way (getting the menu card, ordering drinks, getting the drinks and so on) it took half an eternity. We even had to go and ask for multiple things (like the menu card) ourselves. I hope for them that this night was an exception if not I do not know what to say. I literally never had such a bad experience anywhere.

The waiters were very kind and friendly although the food was quite slow due to the fact that there was only two waiters.my farther enjoyed his steak tartare. I think that they were very kind because I spotted the male waiter helping an old lady to her seat and when my brother accidentally dropped on of his cutlery the waiter came immediately to give him a fresh new set.I do think that they weren’t as friendly to people that were English that didn’t even try to speak French. my family could speak both so it was no problem for us.
